The Visual Capitalist website has an interesting graphic on Millionaire Migration in 2024. Not surprisingly China leads the list in millionaires leaving the country. Given the rapid decline in the political and economic situation in Canada, the gain in millionaires is likely attributed to the exodus from China and the UK. Canada has the lowest growth rate of all OECD countries.

That the UK is second to China in absolute numbers is surprising. Given the difference in population, the exodus from the UK is by far the largest. If the same proportion of millionaires had left China as had left the UK, China would have lost over 198,000!

South Korea is an anomaly. I don't see an obvious reason for that.
